ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಜ್ರಂಬಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

   ದಿನಾಂಕ:- 21-08-2010 ರಂದು 2ನೇ ಅವದಿಗೆ ಅದ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಾದ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಹೇಮಾವತಿ ಗಂಡ ಹೆಚ್.ಪಿ. ಚಂದ್ರು  ಇವರು ಪರಿಶಿಸ್ಟ ಪಂಗಡದ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು. ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಎಲಿಗಾರ ನಾಗರಾಜ ಇವರು ಉಪಾದ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

                              

63ನೇ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶಾಸಕರು ಟಿ.ಎಚ್.ಸುರೇಶಬಾಬು ಕಂಪ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಇವರು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವಿಜ್ರಂಭ್ರಣೆಯಿಂದ ನೇರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.

 

ಕಂಪ್ಲಿ ಪುರಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಲ್ಸ್ ಪೊಲಿಯೋ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ 10-02-2009 ರಂದು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.  ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲಿಯೋ ಮುಕ್ತರನ್ನಾಗಿಸಲು ಈ ಸದಾವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ವಿನಂತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.                                                  ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಕಂಪ್ಲಿ ಪುರಸಭೆ

Birth and Death is now online:

Hampi Utsav 2010

The government will not be celebrating Hampi Utsav in Nov 2009. Instead, it will organize the Utsav in Jan 2010 as part of the celebrations to mark the 500th year of Vijayanagar king Sri Krishnadevaraya acending the throne.

The govt plans to hold several programmes from Nov 1, 2009 to Jan 29, 2010 as part of the anniversary celebrations. The dates have been frozen for Jan 27-29, 2010 for the famous Hampi Festival.

Celebrities to perform during 2010 festival are: Hindustani vocalist Pandit Jasraj, dancer/actor Hema Malini with Sonal Mansingh, troupes from Sri Lanka and China, Vidyabhushan (Carnatic vocal), MM Keerwani, Mysore Manjunath (violin( and Hamsalekha.

Six stages have been erected for the 2010 festival.

15-08-2010: 63rd anniversary of Independence day was celebrated in Kampli Town Municipal office premises.  The Chief Officer Sri V.Ramesh(K.M.A.S.Ist Grade) and the other TMC staff were also present on the occasion..

ABOUT KAMPLI TOWN

ಕಂಪ್ಲಿ ಕುಮಾರರಾಮನ ಕೋಟೆ	ತುಂಗಭದ್ರ ನದಿ ಸೇತುವೆ	ತುಂಗಭದ್ರ ನದಿ	ಶ್ರೀ ಸೋಮೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ

Kampli is a town in Bellary District, Hospet Taluk, in the Indian state of Karnatak. The town is situated about 15 Km away from world famous Hampi. Kampli is an economic hub for its surrounding villages. On evey Tuesday, vendors of various commodities assemble at town's  market for buying and selling.Kample boasts nearly 15 rice mills, a feat for a small town. Agriculture is backbone of its economy.The Tungabhadra River is a true testimonial to india's cosmopolitan nature in lesser known towns and villages. Most of textile business is owned by Marwaris, most of essential commodities business owned by people from Andhra Pradesh, most of evening snacks shops owned by Baniyas. Kampli has many educational institutions ranging from Kindergarte to Degree colleges. The town also has couple of primary schools and high schools specifically for girls. Some of the noted schools and colleges are : Shamichand junior (S.M.G.J) College, Sathya narayana Pete (S.N.P) High School, Bharathiya Shishu Vidhyalaya (B.S.V), Vidya sagara residential School, Sharadha vidya niketan and Chetana School. Kampli is located at 15.4° N 76.62° E. It has an average elevation of 414 metres (1358 feet). As of 2001 India census, Kampli had a population of 35,386. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Kampli has an average literacy rate of 55%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 65%, and female literacy is 46%. In Kampli, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.

ಕ್ರಿ. ಶ. 750 ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದಿಂದ ಕಂಪಿಲ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜರ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ ವಾಯಿತು. ತುಂಗಭದ್ರ ನದಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸುಭೆದ್ರವಾದ ಕೋಟೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ, ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ ಅನೇಕ ರಾಜರು ಅಳುತ್ತಾಬಂದರು. 12 ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದ ರಾಜ ಮನೆತನದ ಮುಮ್ಮಡಿ ಸಿಂಗೇಯ ನಾಯಕ ಈ ಕಂಪಿಲರಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಮ್ಮಗ ಗಂಡುಗಲಿ ಕುಮಾರರಾಮನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆ ಅಜರಾಮರವಾಗಿ ಭೆವ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಅಳಿದ ನಾಡು ಇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಇವರ ಕುರುಹಾಗಿ ಕಂಪಿಲರಾಯ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಆಳುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಈ ಊರಿಗೆ ಕಂಪಿಲ, ಕಂಪಿಲ ಎಂಧು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.ನಂತರ ಕಂಪಿಲ ನಾಮದಿಂದ ಕಂಪ್ಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಶಬ್ಧವು ಜನಜನಿತವಾಯಿತು. ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಪ್ಲಿಯು ತಾಲೂಕು ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರ ಇದನ್ನು ಹೊಸಪೇಟೆ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಂಪ್ಲಿಯು ನೀರಾವರಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಭತ್ತ, ಕಬ್ಬು , ಬಾಳಿ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಬೆಳೆಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಕಂಪ್ಲಿಯು ಎಕೈಕ ಪುರಸಭೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಲಯವಿದ್ದು , 2ನೇ ಹಂತದ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಯೋಜನೆ ಯಿಂದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿಗೆ ಬರವೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು. ಇನ್ನು ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾದ ಕಂಪ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ 20 ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಗಿರಣಿ , 4 ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಮಂದಿರಗಳು, ಅನೇಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಛೇರಿಗಳು , ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಗಳು ಇವೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬಯಲಾಟ , ನಾಟಕ , ಕಲೆ , ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೈತಿಗಳ ತಾಣವಾಗಿದ್ದು , ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥಗಳಿದ್ದು , ಕನ್ನಡಪರ ಸಂಘಗಳು ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲೆ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೈತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮೊಲಕ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾ ಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಇತರೆ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥಘಳು , ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೊಟ ಇನ್ನು ಅನೇಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾ ಬುರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಕಂಪ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ನೂತನ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ  ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಕಂಪ್ಲಿ ಜನತೆಗೆ  ಬಹು ಸಡಗರು ಸಂಭ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಜನರು ಹರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಂಪ್ಲಿಯ ಗಂಡು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿನ ನಾಡಾದ ಗಂಡುಗಲಿ ಕುಮಾರರಾಮನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ದರೊಜಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಬುಡ್ಗ ಜನಾಂಗದ  ಶ್ರೀ ಮತಿ ಈರಮ್ಮ ಬುರ್ರಕಧಾ      ( ಬಾಯಿ ಪಾಠ ) ಹೇಳುವ ಬಗೆ ಜನ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ. ಇದನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ , ಹಂಪಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು " ಕರಡಿ ಧಾಮ " ಇರುವುದು ಒಂದು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿದೆ. ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳವೆಂದರೆ ಗತ ವೈಭವದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸೋಮೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದುಗಡೆ ಸೋಮಪ್ಪ ಕೆರೆ ಎಂದೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾದ ಪ್ರದೇಶವುಳ್ಳ ಬಹು ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಕೆರೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಪಂಪಾಪತಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಇದು ತುಂಗಭದ್ರ ನದಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದವು.
